DIY: Egg Hair Wash- Shampoo and Conditioner in One.
Your hair are not shiny and weak?
Step 1: through away all the industrial shampoos
Step 2: start using natural handmade shampoo and conditioner.
There many different recipes on homemade natural shampoos but they are mostly complicated and soon you will get bored and lazy using it.
But Egg Hair Wash is an ideal mixture of naturalness and convenience. Now, instead of shampoo and conditioner you will need just a raw egg.
How Does It Work?
Eggs work as a cleaning agent because of the lecithin they contain, and it can produce healthier tresses due to their high volume of protein. Essentially an egg is nature’s two in one shampoo and conditioner.
- chemicals free
- it is thrifty
- it is in your kitchen right now
- natural nourishment
- doesn’t need any special shampoo making/cooking
- easy to use
- easy to wash off
Take one whole egg. Whisk in a bowl. Take it into the shower with you. Rinse hair with warm/ cold water. Hold bowl close to your head and just sort of slop it on, massaging in to the ends and the roots. The egg begins to almost foam up as I massage it in. Leave for 3 minutes and then wash out thoroughly with water as cold as you can handle it.
Important fact: Use only cold water to wash the egg out of the hair. Not only will cold water ensure it won't cook and leave scraggly bits of omelet tangled in your locks, cold water seems to produce shinier, healthier looking hair in general.
Using this Egg Hair Wash during just 2 month made my hair look totally different: strong and shiny. Now only with natural nourishment my hair also grow notably quicker.
During the year my hair became 20 cm longer (scientists say that average hair grow 12 cm a year). So i guess this is the best proof that natural homemade care really can make a big difference.
Using industrial shampoos made me wash my hair every second day but since a year of Natural Egg Hair Wash I need to wash my hair just 2 a week. I find this effect wonderful and very important.
You really need to wash this out well, and really need to avoid hot water.
Using an Essential Oil such as Lavender( or any other you like) will get rid of any left over scent.
If you do not like the smell of the egg or you are a vegan check our rice flour shampoo recipe.
